Employee Human Rights
All work must be performed voluntarily. Employees’ free will is respected. No employees shall be demanded to hand over identification or similar personal items.
The legal working age shall be strictly observed, and teen workers given full care and protection.
The legal work hours are observed, and regular audits performed to ensure this is maintained.
Pay and benefits above the minimum set by law are issued on time, and employees receive pay stubs.
Inhumane treatment of workers, including sexual harassment, punishment, and abuse, is banned. Any instances of such inhumane treatment are immediately addressed as per internal policy.
Employees shall not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, age, marital status, pregnancy, religion, union member status, and other conditions.
This policy applies not only to Philenergy staff but also to the staff of primary suppliers.

Philenergy observes its Code of Ethics to conform with the laws and ethics and fulfill its social responsibility while functioning as a business.

Ombudsman
Philenergy has implemented an ombudsman system for increased transparency of business and the soundness of its corporate culture.
The ombudsman system can be used to report unfair and unacceptable practices involving staff,
and to suggest improvements for ethical management.
The anonymity of reporters is guaranteed. Protection mechanisms are in place to ensure reporters are not subject to
any instances of retribution whatsoever.
Once a report is submitted, you will be notified on the outcome of its processing by phone or email as soon as possible.

A report submitted anonymously may not be processed effectively if the necessary specifics and facts are missing.
Reporter’s identities and supplied evidence are given full protection. Reporters will not be subject to any disadvantages whatsoever for making reports.

Attach evidence and other reference materials to assist with the faster handling of your submitted report.

04Handling process
Investigation starts after a report is received
Action (reward, disciplinary action, etc.) is taken according to investigation's findings, and the reporter is notified of the outcome (allow 1 to 3 weeks)
Investigation may not take place if a received report is deemed a minor complaint, baseless slander, or is missing critical information
Exceptional ESG Management

Representatives of Philenergy’ various operations run the ESG Task Force, which sets and implements ESG management targets every year

Improvements in different areas of ESG management are executed as per the 116 management items identified in response to domestic and international ESG standards (RBA, K-ESG, GRI, etc.)
